No durability review due to only 6 months ownership. Once I found the right rear shock settings, this thing is going to get me in trouble out there! So crazy fast! Forget the XR1 tires tough. THey are race only, and for very smooth trails. They are very light and flimsy. Rocks and other sharp objects will shred them. The XR1 tread is GREAT though. I was amazed how well they did hook up before I blew them to bits in the rocks. THey need to make a TLR 2.1 version with a tougher casing! Running SCHWALBE RACING RALPHS 2.25 now, and they rock.

I wanted one of the best carbon frame 29ers on the market--and I found it. Lightweight, fast, good components, nice looker. The only drawback is that it's not made in the U.S. But good luck finding a homegrown bike unless you're dropping $6k or more (Moots, etc). Highly recommend the Superfly.

I've had the bike about a month and alreadyt racked up my first podium finish in a nine hour mtn bike race. This thing is fast, plush and twitchy. Descends like the devil and climbs like an angel. I can't say enough about it.

I am extremely pleased to have a 2010 Superfly 100 (17.5") as it is my dream bike. I am a old time BMX'r converted to MTB in 1992. I have owned about 50 bikes, and this is by far the best. I even have a 2009 Tassajara hardtail that rocks. 29'er technology surpasses 26" any day in my opinion. Gary Fisher himself explained the physics of concept and left no stone unturned.
